The young woman recently shared her secrets for making a shiny caramel that immediately won us over. The advantage? The preparation is really very simple to make and only requires a few ingredients. Maud shared an Instagram post revealing her caramel recipe “very easy to make for your waffles, pancakes, pies or desserts” specifies the young woman. So don’t hesitate any longer and get into the kitchen to test it without further delay. Here’s exactly how to do it.
For the recipe you will need:
- 100g of sugar
- 200g of cream
- 80g butter
- 1 vanilla pod
- 3g of fleur de sel
- Start by infusing the cream with the split and scraped vanilla pod. Bring it to a boil.
- Then, make a dry caramel by turning the heat to high then medium heat. When you have obtained a nice amber caramel, pour the vanilla cream over the caramel while continuing to whisk. Cook everything for 2 minutes.
- Pour the caramel into a pitcher and add the butter and fleur de sel before mixing the preparation to obtain a uniform texture.
- Put the caramel in a container. Cover with film and leave to rest for at least 4 hours in the refrigerator.
All you have to do is use your caramel for your desserts!
