Mom Tips

Cooked condensed milk: Place the can (remove the label if it has one) in the pressure cooker and cover with water. Close the pan with the lid and put it on fire. After the pan “sizzles” set the time for 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and do not open the pan; let the pressure release naturally. Once the pan is free of pressure, remove the lid and carefully remove the can. Let the can cool and then open it.

Black stain on the pan due to cooking: Add clean water to the pan and the juice of 1 or 2 lemons. Add the peel of the squeezed lemons. Bring to a boil (without the lid on the pan) for about 8 minutes. Wash the pan as usual without having to scrub too hard. The stain will come off easily.

If you prefer, you can replace the walnuts with chopped roasted peanuts.
