In the world of beers, Águila, one of the best-known brands in Colombia, has achieved an outstanding position among the 50 best in the world in the year 2024, according to the prestigious study carried out by Brand Finance.

Eagle Beer

Águila beer has a history that dates back to its founding in Barranquilla on April 22, 1913.

Over the years, it has been sponsor of carnivals, local sporting events and, of course, the Colombian national team. Its presence in the market has been constant and appreciated by consumers.

Position in world ranking

In the 2024 ranking, Águila is positioned in 37th place, having dropped two boxes compared to the previous year. However, Its brand value has been evaluated nine times between 2016 and 2024, which has made it appear in 15 brand rankings, including the most important beer brands and the best brands in Latin America.

Corona Extra: the market leader

Globally, Corona Extra beer from Mexico is known as the most valuable in the world in 2024, according to the same Brand Finance study.

With a 40% increase in value compared to the previous year, Corona Extra surpasses Heineken from the Netherlands, which occupies second place in the ranking. Consumer preference for premium, quality offerings has contributed to its continued success.
