Fried or breaded steak is already delicious on its own, with a side dish, it’s even better!
Ingredients Steak
- 4 pork chops
- ½ cup (tea) of breadcrumbs
- 4 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 2 beaten eggs
- Grated zest of ½ lemon
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Ingredients Kale (optional)
- 1 bunch of sliced cabbage
- 2 large garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Steak Preparation Method
- Mix the breadcrumbs with the lemon zest and set aside.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Coat them in wheat flour, beaten eggs and breadcrumbs.
- Fry in batches in hot oil until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and keep warm.
How to Prepare Kale
- Heat the oil over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and sauté, stirring, until golden.
- Add the kale and fry for 1 minute over high heat.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- In a serving dish, place the steaks and cabbage and serve.
Mom’s Tips
Serve with white rice and green salad.
