NAtalia Budarina, head of the CEC, indicated that that body received a document expressing the candidate’s refusal to “participate in joint election campaign events broadcast through the channels of Russian state organizations”.

The Russian presidential elections are scheduled for March 17th, although voting will take place over three days, from the 15th to the 17th.
