On his YouTube channel, the emblematic chef of the small screen shared with his community a lamb recipe that takes the taste buds on a journey to the Maghreb: lamb stew with dried fruits!

From his book “Cook well accompanied”, this easy-to-make oriental-inspired recipe can be prepared in less than 20 minutes. Perfect for a gourmet family holiday meal! To prepare this recipe for 4 people, you will need:

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 150 g dried apricots
  • 1 kg of lamb (shoulder, leg, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon of rapeseed oil
  • 20g butter
  • 30 g of flour
  • 10 cl of white wine
  • 1.5 liters of water
  • Coarse salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 star anise
  • 10 g ras-el-hanout
  • 50 g of raisins
  • 5 sprigs of fresh coriander
  • 5 sprigs of fresh mint
  • 40 g flaked almonds
