Ingredients
- 300 grams of sliced turkey breast
- 2 large handfuls of arugula
- Chopped chives
- Chopped mint
- Persimmon Slices
- Seeds of 1 pomegranate
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon pomegranate syrup
- 1 pinch of sugar
- 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
Preparation Mode
- On a platter, place the already sanitized arugula.
- Cover with the turkey breast.
- Sprinkle the chives, mint, persimmon and pomegranate seeds over the top.
Sauce Preparation Method
- Mix the lemon juice, olive oil, syrup, sugar and cinnamon powder.
- Drizzle the salad and serve.
Mom Tips
The pomegranate is made up of cavities filled with arils – seeds covered in a brilliant ruby-red or white gelatin with a sweet and sour flavor.
How to prepare pomegranate: Using a sharp knife, cut off the top of the pomegranate. Divide it into four, following the line of the arils. The seeds are in batches divided by a thin membrane. Remove the seeds from each quarter.
Know: packages with loose seeds are sold for use in desserts, salads, etc.
When buying whole fresh pomegranates: choose by weight, not color; prefer heavy ones.
Pomegranate syrup is aromatic and is found in imported product stores.
If you prefer, you can add feta cheese to the salad.
