Two delicious potato recipes that will make your meal much tastier and more nutritious!
Potato with bacon
Ingredients
- 500 grams of frozen hazelnut potatoes
- 200 grams of chopped bacon
- 1 tablespoon of margarine
- Chopped sauce
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- Defrost the potatoes according to the manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging.
- In a frying pan, over medium heat, fry the bacon in margarine until golden.
- Add the potatoes and mix lightly until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and season with salt. Serve immediately.
Mom’s Tips
You can replace the parsley with chopped chives.
Yields approximately 5 servings
Potato with Garlic
Ingredients
- 5 medium potatoes with skin
- ½ cup (tea) of olive oil
- 1 cup (tea) of curly parsley leaves
- 4 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 5 sage leaves
- Paprika to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- Cook the potatoes in boiling water with salt.
- Drain and let cool.
- Brown the garlic in the olive oil. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the parsley and sage, reserving some for garnish, and fry until crispy.
- Remove and place on paper towels.
- Add the potatoes (with or without the skins) and fry on both sides.
- Season to taste.
- Place a sage leaf and a few parsley leaves on top of each potato.
- Serve.
Mom’s Tips
If you prefer, instead of cutting the garlic into pieces, you can crush it into smaller pieces.
