Barbecue sauce
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 grated onions
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 4 tablespoons of white vinegar
- 200 grams of tomato puree
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup dry white wine
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 1 chopped bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- In a pan, over low heat, heat the oil, add the onion, garlic and sauté.
- When golden, add the vinegar, tomato puree and let it fry for 3 minutes.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, wine, mustard, thyme and bay leaves.
- Let it boil for 12 minutes or until you get a creamy sauce.
- Add the honey and season with pepper and salt.
- Let it boil for a few more minutes.
Mom Tips
Serve hot with grilled poultry or meat.
Yield = ½ liter of sauce.

Hollandaise sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of white vinegar
- 3 excited
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- 6 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Preparation Mode
- In a pan, add the vinegar, egg yolks, pepper and salt.
- Beat well and place over low heat in a bain-marie.
- Add the butter little by little, without stopping beating, until it reaches the consistency of mayonnaise.
- Add the lemon juice, little by little.
Mom Tips
Serve with fries or grilled steaks.
