AAfter twenty-three hours of suspension, the last passengers still trapped after the accident with a cable car in the city of Antalya, Turkey, were rescued this Saturday, which resulted in one death and ten injuries.

The accident, which occurred at 5:30 pm local time on Friday, occurred when one of the cabins on the Sarisu-Tünektepe cable car collided with a pole that broke.

At the end of a “very dangerous” operation, 174 people, including children, were “successfully” evacuated, announced this Saturday Okay Memis, head of the Turkish public disaster management agency (Afad). Ten helicopters and more than 600 rescue teams were sent to the scene, according to authorities.

However, an investigation was opened to determine the causes of the accident and authorities ordered the arrest of thirteen people, including employees of the company that operates the cable car.
