A simple, creamy and distinctively flavored rice pudding dessert. Hmm… very good!


  • 1 cup washed raw rice
  • 2 liters of milk
  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)
  • 1 can of whey-free cream
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cloves

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pan, heat the sugar, stirring constantly until you get a caramel.
  2. Carefully and little by little, add the milk and let it boil over low heat until the caramel dissolves.
  3. In another pan, place the rice and cover with water.
  4. Bring to a boil, letting it cook until the water dries (about 10 minutes).
  5. Add 1/3 of the milk with caramel, cinnamon, cloves and cook again until almost dry.
  6. Repeat the operation until the milk runs out and the rice is cooked.
  7. Remove from the heat and add the cream and mix well. Place in a refractory dish.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  9. Serve.

Mom Tips

For sweet rice, the ideal is to use arboreal rice.
