A A church tower collapsed on Thursday in Connecticut, USA. The incident left a hole in the top of the building and reduced the front of the church to rubble.
A woman was found inside the church by firefighters without any injuries. According to Fox News, there were no injuries or deaths. The moment the tower collapsed was captured by a camera at a school near the church.
The city’s mayor, Michael Passero, stated in an interview that the circumstances of the collapse were “extremely fortunate”, as at the time of the incident no mass was taking place in the building. “It could have been a much bigger disaster for us.
