The fish itself is very good; cod au gratin is even better! Try it!
Ingredients
- 500 grams of cooked and shredded cod
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 grated carrot
- 1 box of cream
- 1 glass of milk
- 1 French bread soaked in milk
- Grated parmesan cheese to taste
Preparation Mode
- Cook the cod over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Drain the water and shred the fish. Reserve.
- In a pan, add the olive oil, garlic, onion and carrot.
- Saute for 4 minutes, add the cod and sauté for another 3 minutes.
- Add the milk, cream and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Add the bread and stir until it breaks up.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at medium temperature for approximately 15 minutes.

Mom Tips
There is commercially available cod already desalted (frozen desalted). Frozen desalted meat is a quality product.
