Check out two mouth-watering recipes! It’s very easy to give a new twist to the traditional cod dish. With bacon! How about for the end of the year festivities? Hmmm…!!
Ingredients
- 6 cod fillets or fillets
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- 6 slices of bacon
- 4 stale and crushed loaves of bread
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
- 2 tablespoons of softened butter
- 1 clove of crushed garlic
- 1 chopped onion
Preparation Mode
- Place the cod in a bowl and cover with water.
- Leave to soak for 12 hours in the refrigerator, changing the water 4 times.
- After this time, drain.
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- Season the cod with olive oil, pepper and salt.
- Cover each fillet with bacon and place in a medium ovenproof dish.
- Mix the bread, butter, coriander, onion and garlic until you get crumbs.
- Arrange over the fillets and bake for approximately 30 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
Mom Tips
The bread crumbs can be baked and served separately.
Yields 6 servings.
