Ingredients
- 12 slices of bread
- 1 cup of milk (tea)
- 4 tablespoons of wheat flour
- ½ teaspoon of nutmeg
- 4 eggs
- ¼ cup (tea) oil
- ½ cup (tea) sugar
- 2 tablespoons of cinnamon
- Vanilla or cream ice cream
- Baked apple slices (optional)
- Mint leaves
Preparation Mode
- Mix the sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
- Beat the eggs until they foam.
- Add the nutmeg, flour and beat some more.
- Quickly bathe the slices of bread in milk and dip them in the egg.
- In a non-stick frying pan, heat the oil and fry four slices at a time.
- Remove and reserve them on a metal rack.
- Dip the French toast in cinnamon sugar. Serve two slices on each plate with a scoop of ice cream.
- Decorate with apple slices and mint leaves.
Mom Tips
Vanilla or cream ice cream can be replaced with flavored ice cream of your choice.
