Ingredients

  • 250 grams of wheat flour
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 50 grams of corn flour
  • 175 grams of chopped butter
  • Vanilla essence drops

  • 1 clara
  • Food flavoring gel in various colors

Preparation Mode

  1. Prepare a large baking tray by greasing it. Reserve.
  2. Process the flour with the butter in a processor until it resembles bread crumbs.
  3. Add the vanilla and sugar and knead with your hands until you have a soft ball of dough.
  4. Knead lightly and roll out on a floured surface.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  6. Using cutters of different shapes, cut the cookies and place them in the pan.
  7. Leftover dough should be reused and cut until the dough runs out.
  8. Pierce all the cookies with a fork.
  9. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until they start to brown.
  10. Let them cool in the pan.

  1. In a bowl, place the egg white and add the sugar, lemon and beat until you get a uniform mixture.
  2. If the mixture is too thick, you can add a little water.
  3. Divide the mixture into several parts and mix one color of dye into each one.
  4. Place the icing in a piping bag and trace the outline of the cookies.
  5. Wait about 10 minutes until the topping is firm.
  6. Fill the rest of the surface with the icing. Wait for it to dry.
  7. Decorate to taste depending on the shape you gave the cookie.

Mom Tips

Yield will depend on the size and shape of the cutters. Approximately 16 units can be produced.
