Filled with our traditional guava paste, this muffin is soft and very tasty. Children love it!
Ingredients
- ½ cup margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- 1/3 cup of milk
- 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 shallow cup of creamy guava paste
Preparation Mode
- Grease and flour a muffin tin. Reserve.
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- In a blender, blend the first four ingredients.
- Add the flour and beat until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Add the yeast and mix.
- Without exceeding half of the pan, add a spoonful of dough, a portion of the guava paste and top it off with the dough.
- Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until golden.
- Unmold and serve.
Mom Tips
For those who have guava in pieces at home, it is easy to obtain creamy guava: For each cup of chopped guava, add half a cup of water. Place in a pan and heat over low heat until the guava paste dissolves.
