Filled with our traditional guava paste, this muffin is soft and very tasty. Children love it!


  • ½ cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1/3 cup of milk
  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1 shallow cup of creamy guava paste

Preparation Mode

  1. Grease and flour a muffin tin. Reserve.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. In a blender, blend the first four ingredients.
  4. Add the flour and beat until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  5. Add the yeast and mix.
  6. Without exceeding half of the pan, add a spoonful of dough, a portion of the guava paste and top it off with the dough.
  7. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until golden.
  8. Unmold and serve.

Mom Tips

For those who have guava in pieces at home, it is easy to obtain creamy guava: For each cup of chopped guava, add half a cup of water. Place in a pan and heat over low heat until the guava paste dissolves.
