With this rice recipe, in 30 minutes you will have a tasty dish to serve for lunch or dinner.


  • 2 cups (tea) of washed and drained rice
  • 1 sachet of vegetable broth
  • 4 cups (tea) of hot water
  • 2 cups (tea) of grated carrots
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons of margarine
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of fine herbs
  • 100 grams of grated mozzarella cheese

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pan, over medium heat, sauté the garlic in margarine for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the carrot and stir.
  3. Add the rice and sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Add the crumbled vegetable stock, water and salt to taste.
  5. Mix well and cook over low heat, with the pan half covered until dry.
  6. Turn off the heat and use a fork to fluff the rice.
  7. Add the herbs and mozzarella and mix gently.

Use as fine herbs: rosemary, basil and oregano.
