  • 2 cups ripe pineapple, peeled and chopped
  • 2 sheets of colorless, unflavored gelatin
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • Zest of the peel of 1 small lemon
  • Juice of 1 small lemon
  • Caramel syrup

Preparation Mode

  1. In a container, spread the gelatin sheets, without overlapping them.
  2. Cover them with filtered water and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
  3. In a blender, place the pineapple, drained hydrated gelatin sheets, sugar, zest and lemon juice.
  4. Beat until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  5. Place the mixture in the freezer.
  6. When the ice cream has hardened, remove it, place it in the mixer and beat.
  7. Return it to the freezer.
  8. Repeat the operation two more times.
  9. Distribute the ice cream into bowls, pour over the syrup and decorate as desired.

Mom Tips

Use a maximum of half a cup (tea) of lemon juice.

The preparation procedures are important so that the ice cream is very creamy.
