The suspensions, which take place on one of the busiest weekends of the year, will hold back thousands of passengers, reports the France-Presse agency.
According to the British agency PA, trains were canceled due to flooding in a tunnel in southern England.
The same agency says that cancellations should continue until the end of the day because heavy rains are forecast.
Already on December 21, the departure period for the Christmas holidays, Eurostar passengers were faced with numerous train cancellations due to a strike that paralyzed the tunnel under the Channel.
