Iced and super easy to make, this cake is much loved by adults and children.
Dough Ingredients
- 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 2 cups of sugar (tea)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- ¾ cup of milk
- 6 eggs
- 4 teaspoons of chemical baking powder
Coverage Ingredients
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 box of cream
- 200 ml coconut milk
- 1 box of chocolate maria-mole powder
- ½ cup boiling water
- Grated coconut to taste
Dough Preparation Method
- Grease and flour a 20 cm x 30 cm baking dish. Reserve.
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- Using a mixer, at high speed, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a light, fluffy eggnog.
- Reduce the speed and add, alternately, the milk mixed with the butter and the flour mixed with the yeast.
- Place the mixture in the pan.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until baked and golden.
- Remove, let cool and prick the entire dough with a fork. Reserve.
Preparation Mode Coverage
- Dissolve the maria-mole powder in boiling water.
- Place in the blender and blend.
- Add condensed milk, cream and coconut milk.
- Mix until you get a smooth mixture.
Cake Assembly
- Unmold the cake and line the pan with aluminum foil.
- Place the cake back inside the pan.
- Drizzle with topping.
- Sprinkle the entire cake with grated coconut.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve.
Mom Tips
You can replace the chocolate-flavored maria-mole powder with coconut flavor.
If you prefer, you can use fresh grated coconut.
