Iced and super easy to make, this cake is much loved by adults and children.

Dough Ingredients

  • 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • ¾ cup of milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 teaspoons of chemical baking powder

Coverage Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 box of cream
  • 200 ml coconut milk
  • 1 box of chocolate maria-mole powder
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • Grated coconut to taste

Dough Preparation Method

  1. Grease and flour a 20 cm x 30 cm baking dish. Reserve.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. Using a mixer, at high speed, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a light, fluffy eggnog.
  4. Reduce the speed and add, alternately, the milk mixed with the butter and the flour mixed with the yeast.
  5. Place the mixture in the pan.
  6. Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until baked and golden.
  7. Remove, let cool and prick the entire dough with a fork. Reserve.

Preparation Mode Coverage

  1. Dissolve the maria-mole powder in boiling water.
  2. Place in the blender and blend.
  3. Add condensed milk, cream and coconut milk.
  4. Mix until you get a smooth mixture.

Cake Assembly

  1. Unmold the cake and line the pan with aluminum foil.
  2. Place the cake back inside the pan.
  3. Drizzle with topping.
  4. Sprinkle the entire cake with grated coconut.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  6. Serve.

Mom Tips

You can replace the chocolate-flavored maria-mole powder with coconut flavor.

If you prefer, you can use fresh grated coconut.
