“NAs part of the evacuation, around 100 people were detained by the police. Students who presented their Northeastern U. identification cards were released (…). Those who refused to prove their affiliation were detained”, declared the university on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
The statement added that “violent anti-Semitic insults” such as “killing Jews” had been hurled on campus on Thursday night.
