Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches, peeled and diced
  • Raspberries or 100 grams of red fruit in pieces
  • 300 ml fresh cream
  • 300 ml of whole milk
  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 excited
  • Raspberries or cherries to decorate
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Sliced ​​peaches

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pan, over low heat, heat the milk and cream until it almost starts to boil.
  2. Retire do fogo. Reserve.
  3. Using a mixer, beat the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the milk and cream mixture, stirring constantly.
  5. In a clean pan, return the mixture to the heat.
  6. Boil, lower the heat and simmer for approximately 7 minutes, stirring constantly until the cream thickens.
  7. Transfer to a bowl and let cool covered with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming.
  8. Beat the peach with 2 tablespoons of sugar and pour into a bowl. Reserve.
  9. When the cream is cold, beat your ice cream well and place it in the freezer.
  10. When it’s almost freezing, beat it again.
  11. Repeat this process until you obtain the desired consistency or use an ice cream maker for approximately 30 minutes to eliminate these processes.
  12. Add the peach puree and blend for another 10 to 15 minutes, until it reaches the consistency of frozen ice cream.
  13. Add the fruit pieces and mix.
  14. Freeze for a few hours before consuming.
  15. In tall glasses, place pieces of peach, ice cream and decorate with raspberry puree or whipped cream and the fruit used.

Mom Tips

The traditional peach melba uses raspberries. If there is no fruit, use cherry or strawberry.

Home ice cream maker (optional): There are a number of good brands on the market.

Raspberry puree: Blend 100 grams of raspberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar.
