Ingredients
- 2 cups of sugar (tea)
- 3/4 cup milk (warm)
- 2 tablets of fresh yeast
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 cups wheat flour (tea)
- 1/2 cup unsalted peanuts (peeled)
- 3 eggs
- 4 tablespoons of margarine
- 2 and 1/2 cups cornmeal (tea)
Preparation mode
- In a bowl, we are going to prepare the sponge by mixing half the sugar, half the milk, the yeast and the salt until obtaining a spongy texture.
- Add half the wheat flour, knead and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Separately, in a blender, beat the rest of the milk, the eggs, the peanuts, the remaining sugar and the margarine until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.
- In another bowl, mix the remaining flour with the cornmeal, add the mixture from the blender and add the sponge that has already grown. Mix.
- Cover with a cloth and let rise for another 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- Model polka dots, sprinkle with cornmeal and let it rest for another 25 minutes.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
- Serve.
Mother’s Tips
2 tablets of fresh biological yeast = 30 grams of yeast.
Approximate yield of 25 units.
