In 40 minutes you prepare a delicious and versatile dessert. Compote goes well with ice cream, cake, pies, etc. Very easy to do. Try it and surprise your guests!
Ingredients
- 1 pearl pineapple, sliced or chunked
- 2 cups of sugar (tea)
- 4 cups of water (tea)
- 3 cinnamon sticks
Preparation mode
- In a pan put the water, cinnamon and sugar.
- Bring to a low boil for 5 minutes.
- Add the pineapple, mix and cook for 20 minutes or until soft.
- Remove from pan.
- Let it cool.
- Place in a glass with a lid.
- Store in the refrigerator until serving time.
Mother’s Tips
If you prefer, you can add 3 cloves of India to the recipe.
When serving, decorate with sanitized mint leaves.
Serve chilled.
