Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 sifted egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • 50 grams of crushed walnuts
  • 50 grams of whole walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon grape juice (optional)
  • Cinnamon powder

Preparation Mode

  1. Beat the yolk with the sugar.
  2. Add the milk, mixing in the cornstarch.
  3. Add the margarine, vanilla essence and grape juice.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it starts to thicken.
  5. Add the walnuts,
  6. Stir again and turn off the heat.
  7. Let it cool.
  8. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  9. Decorate with nuts.
  10. Serve immediately.

Mom Tips

Walnuts can be replaced with Brazil nuts.

Demerara sugar can be replaced with brown sugar.

Simple Oat Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 large American glass of milk
