The Carrefour Classic brand has launched a recall of its mini corn on the cob. The reason for this recall is the suspected presence of pieces of glass in the products. Here is all the information on this recall.

The products affected by this recall are Carrefour Classic brand mini corn on the cob, packaged in 37cl jars. They were sold throughout France from December 12, 2023 to July 2, 2024 in Carrefour stores throughout France.

The affected products have GTIN 3560071468286, with a batch number of 07.06.2023 and a best before date of 06/06/2026.

The presence of glass pieces in the products can cause injuries when consumed. Indeed, ingestion of glass pieces can result in serious internal injuries.

If you have purchased these mini corn cobs, stop consuming them immediately. It is recommended that you return them to the point of sale to receive a refund. The end date of the recall procedure is set for September 2, 2024.
