Hmm… a well-seasoned and warm risotto is great!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of arborio rice
- 5 cups of boiling water
- 1 kg of chopped tomatoes, skinless and seedless
- ½ cup (tea) of olive oil
- 2 chopped onions
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon of saffron
- 100 grams of grated parmesan cheese
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- In a pan, heat the olive oil.
- Add the olive oil, onions, garlic and fry over medium heat.
- Add the unwashed rice, tomatoes, pepper and salt.
- Lower the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the saffron, boiling water and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally or until almost dry.
- Add the cheese, mix and serve.
- Decorate the dish to taste.
