Hmm… a well-seasoned and warm risotto is great!


  • 2 cups of arborio rice
  • 5 cups of boiling water
  • 1 kg of chopped tomatoes, skinless and seedless
  • ½ cup (tea) of olive oil
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of saffron
  • 100 grams of grated parmesan cheese
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pan, heat the olive oil.
  2. Add the olive oil, onions, garlic and fry over medium heat.
  3. Add the unwashed rice, tomatoes, pepper and salt.
  4. Lower the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the saffron, boiling water and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally or until almost dry.
  6. Add the cheese, mix and serve.
  7. Decorate the dish to taste.
