It’s always a pleasure to make homemade cookies. Much healthier and tastier!


  • 250 grams of wheat flour
  • 25 grams of softened butter
  • ¾ cup (tea) of hot water
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation Mode

  1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar and salt.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Melt the butter in the water and add to the flour mixture.
  4. Work the dough quickly, cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  5. After resting, preheat the oven to medium temperature, roll out the dough on a floured surface, making it very thin.
  6. Cut it into squares.
  7. Place the cookies on a greased and floured baking sheet.
  8. Bake until lightly golden.

Mom’s Tips

Before baking the cookies, you can, if you prefer, pierce them with the tips of a fork or make small, light cuts in the dough.

Yield will depend on the size you cut the cookies.
