As a snack or as an appetizer, these sausage puffs are a hit! Hmmmm….


  • ½ kg of small sausages
  • 400 grams of frozen puff pastry
  • 2 excited
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pan, place the sausages and cover them with water.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Remove, drain and let cool.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of 2 mm on a floured surface.
  5. Cut the dough into small rectangles.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  7. Place a sausage in each rectangle and roll it up.
  8. Place the puffs on a wet baking sheet.
  9. Mix the egg yolks, milk, oil, salt and brush over the puffs.
  10. Bake for approximately 15 minutes.

Mom Tips

If you prefer, before adding the sausage, brush the dough with tomato sauce.

When you want to serve the puff pastries as an appetizer, cut them into slices before putting them in the oven.

Approximate yield of 30 puffs.
