Christmas knocks at the door! How about a fancy cupcake? Here you will find three suggestions. You’ll love it!


  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast.
  • 200 grams of butter
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • Zest of the peel of 1 lemon
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice, strained

Decoration ingredient (optional)

  • Homemade American paste
  • Gel food coloring in skin, red and black colors

Preparation Mode

  1. In a bowl, sift the flour, salt and yeast.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. Using a mixer, beat the butter with the sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Add the lemon zest.
  6. With the mixer on low speed, add the flour alternating with the lemon juice.
  7. Beat until the dough is very homogeneous.
  8. Place in cupcake molds and bake for approximately 25 minutes.
  9. Once cold, decorate with a Christmas motif suggested in the photo or to your taste.
