An elaborate and delicious strawberry cake that can be served at a party, making the children happy!

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch (tea)
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)
  • 1 cup (tea) oil
  • 1 cup of natural yogurt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 box of strawberry flavored gelatin

Filling Ingredients

  • 200 grams of sanitized strawberries
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of water
  • 1 envelope of unflavored gelatin
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of cream
  • 1 cup of milk (tea)

Ingredientes Marshmallow

  • 3 whites
  • 3 cups of sugar (tea)
  • 1 cup (tea) of water

To decorate

  • Sanitized whole strawberries
  • Sanitized blackberries
  • Mint Leaves

Dough Preparation Method

  1. Grease a 24 cm diameter round pan and sprinkle with wheat flour. Reserve.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180ÂșC.
  3. In a bowl, sift together the wheat flour, cornstarch and yeast. Reserve.
  4. In a blender, beat the oil, sugar, yogurt, eggs and gelatin.
  5. Place the mixture in the bowl with the sifted ingredients, mix and place the dough in the pan.
  6. Place in the oven to bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
  7. Unmold the cake after it has cooled, cut it in half and set aside.

Filling preparation method

  1. Place the condensed milk, cream and milk in the blender glass. Reserve.
  2. In a pan, bring the water, strawberries and sugar to a boil. Remove and reserve.
  3. Hydrate the gelatin in the water recommended on the packaging and dissolve in the microwave or in a bain-marie.
  4. Add the strawberry mixture and dissolved gelatin to the blender jar.
  5. Place the glass in the blender and blend well.
  6. Refrigerate until it becomes creamy.
  7. Fill the cake.

Marshmallow Preparation Method

  1. With the water and sugar, make a thick syrup.
  2. Using a mixer, beat the egg whites and, without stopping beating, pour in the syrup in a stream.
  3. Keep beating until it becomes very firm.
  4. Cover the cake with the marshmallow.
  5. Decorate with strawberries, blackberries and mint leaves.

Mom Tips

If you prefer, sprinkle the side of the cake with grated coconut or colored sprinkles.
