O Former US President Joe Biden has already condemned the attack at Donald Trump’s rally.

“I am grateful to hear that Trump is safe and well. I am praying for him and his family and everyone who was at the rally as we await more information,” the US leader said in a statement published on the White House website.

“Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There is no place for this type of violence in America. We must come together as a nation to condemn it,” he concluded.

After the statement, Biden made a brief statement to the country, in which he said he had tried to contact Donald Trump, but had been unsuccessful. He did, however, speak to the Republican’s doctors, who told him that he was fine. “There is no place in America for this kind of violence”he reinforced, explaining that the administration is waiting for more details about the fatal victim who was not the shooter, and who was among the public. “He had the right to have held the rally peacefully”, he explained. The FBI is also investigating the incident.

Two people died, including the shooter.

In addition to the two fatal victims, it is believed that another person is in critical condition.

US President Joe Biden has already responded, calling for unity as a nation. “There is no place for this type of violence in the United States,” he said, condemning the attack and saying he was “grateful” that Trump was well.

Other reactions emerged, and not only Democrats and Republicans showed their solidarity, but also Elon Musk and the leader of Chega, André Ventura. Former US presidents also reacted, condemning the situation.
