On Instagram, gastroenterologist William Berrebi revealed which anti-stress food to favor. This oilseed helps regulate stress levels, particularly thanks to its high magnesium content: “It is the product that contains the most magnesium. It contains 400 mg of magnesium per 100 g”. Thus, the specialist recommends turning to Brazil nut and explains that the latter “is one of the foods to eat to combat stress”.

Indeed, in cases of stress, magnesium proves to be a great ally because it reduces the secretion of noradrenaline and cortisol, two elements which promote irritability and anxiety.

To reduce stress, the gastroenterologist therefore advises consuming about 3 to 4 Brazil nuts per day for a 6-day cure et for daily consumption 1 to 2 nuts only.

Note that Brazil nuts contain a lot of magnesium unlike other oilseeds. You can also focus on other foods. However, the effect on stress will be less effective. Note that also eating pecans, macadamia nuts, cashews, pistachios or even hazelnuts, around 30 grams per day, also helps fight against your stress.
