“O Joe should immediately take a cognitive test and I would go with him and take another one as well,” challenged Trump, who is running as a Republican candidate for the November 5 presidential election.
The former President proposed that “all presidential candidates take a cognitive test” and an aptitude test, “regardless of age.”
“His performance since that debate has not been exactly stellar,” Trump added, referring to the televised debate that pitted the two candidates against each other.
Trump called Biden’s lapse in regard to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whom he referred to as “President Putin” – at a press conference at the end of this week’s NATO summit in Washington – “inexcusable.”
“Despite all this, he should not allow complete losers like George Clooney, under the auspices of Barack Hussein Obama, to urge him to leave office,” Trump said, in an allusion to the text that the American actor wrote in The New York Times, where he called on Biden to abandon the presidential race.
During an interview with a radio program, broadcast today, Trump also said that Biden “made some mistakes” during the NATO summit press conference, although he acknowledged that the US President’s performance was not “a total disaster”.
