SAccording to a note on the Telegram network, the victims are women who were at a bus stop at the time of the attack.
Two other people were injured, including a 6-year-old girl.
Five days ago, authorities loyal to Russia in Donetsk reported the deaths of three civilians due to a Ukrainian attack, coinciding with the tenth anniversary of the separatist referendum in that territory.
The attack was carried out with HIMARS missiles, one of which hit a restaurant, according to the local governor, Denis Pushilin.
The province of Donetsk, partially occupied by Russia, has been one of the most war-torn as a result of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
In recent months, Russian troops have made slow progress taking advantage of their superiority in men and weapons.
