For this, there are several effective methods in order to correctly disinfect your washable and reusable sponges. The advantage? No need to use chemicals and “Toxic”Like bleach. The heat alone will do the trick very well.

The first method is simply to sponge in the microwave for 2 minutes at maximum power. But beware, this tip obviously does not work with metal sponges!

The second technique is to plunge your sponge into a saucepan of water that you will heat. “As soon as the water boils, we turn off the fire.” GThanks to the heat, the sponge will be disinfected.
