How about trying a different puree than the conventional one? Recipe that goes well with any dish!


  • 1 and ½ kg of fresh peas
  • 1 pack of green scent
  • 2 small onions
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Head of a head of lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons of cream
  • 1 and ½ tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar

Preparation Mode

  1. In a wide-bottomed saucepan, place the shelled peas.
  2. Add the onions, green chilli, pepper, salt, sugar and cover everything with lettuce leaves.
  3. Place over low heat so the peas cook in their own juice.
  4. When cooked, pass the peas through the potato ricer, leaving aside the seasonings and lettuce.
  5. Place the peas passed through the juicer over low heat to dry a little.
  6. Remove, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add the cream and butter.
  8. Mix well and serve.

Mom Tips

If you prefer, cook the peas in water or steam. In water, cook for 15 minutes or until the peas are soft. Remove from heat, drain the water and puree the peas in a blender. Steam for approximately 5 minutes.

Ideal to accompany birds.
