After Iran announced that it deployed an attack with drones and missiles on Israel, the international community spoke out, including the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro.

Another political figure who has spoken out is Josep Borrell, high representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, stating that “the Iranian attack against Israel is an unprecedented escalation” and “a serious threat to regional security.”

From the United Kingdom, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak condemned in a statement the bombings, which he described as “reckless by the Iranian regime.” Furthermore, he assured that together with his allies, His country will continue to defend Israel’s security and work to stabilize the situation, in order to not see more bloodshed in the Middle East.

French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné said on social network X that by taking this unprecedented action, Iran has reached a new level in its acts of destabilization.

His Italian counterpart, Antonio Tajani, assured that his country is following the situation with attention and concern.
