President Joe Biden’s health in doubt after repeated neurologist visits to White House

This Monday, July 8, 2024, the president intensified the messages to dispel doubts that grow due to the Frequent visits to a neurologist specializing in Parkinson’s treatment to the White House in recent months.

Eight visits in one year by a neurologist to the White House and a meeting with the US president’s doctor have the Biden administration trying to maintain calm amid immense uncertainty.

Karine Jean-Pierre, White House press secretary, commented on the incident: “Has the president been treated for Parkinson’s? No. Is he being treated for Parkinson’s? No, he is not. Is he on medication for Parkinson’s? No, so those are the things I can give you full answers to. But I’m not going to confirm the name of any specialists who come to the White House for privacy reasons.

Karine Jean-Pierre’s attempt to give charity about the treatments the president receives came after a record of visits to the White House was released, where the name of Kevin Cannard appears eight times in the last year.

Cannard is a specialist in Parkinson’s at Walter Reed Military HospitalIt is not clear whether Joe Biden met with him.

“What I can share with you is that The president has been with a neurologistas part of their annual health assessments about three times,” Jean-Pierre added.

The controversy comes at a time when the Questions about Joe Biden’s health are growing, especially in his party.

They are around 12 congressmen have expressed doubts or suggested that Joe Biden step aside, hence a letter he sent to them.
