Coffee Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 flat cup of espresso coffee
  • 2 cups of icing sugar

Preparation Mode

  1. In a non-stick pan, add the coffee and sugar.
  2. Heat the mixture over low heat.

Mom Tips

Espresso coffee can be replaced by a cup (tea) full of strong brewed coffee.

The syrup is delicious when used in cakes. Excellent with chocolate cake.

Strawberry sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes of strawberries
  • 1 lemon
  • ½ cup (tea) sugar
  • ½ cup (tea) of filtered water

Preparation Mode

  1. Clean the strawberries.
  2. With the water and sugar make a clear syrup.
  3. Add the lemon juice and half of the strawberries.
  4. Mash the strawberries as they cook.
  5. Let the syrup boil until the fruits break down.
  6. Chop the rest of the strawberries and add to the mixture.
  7. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  8. Turn off and let cool.
  9. Take it to freeze.

Mom Tips

To prevent the syrup from becoming bitter, remove the foam that forms while cooking.

Wash the glass jar you will use to store the syrup with hot water and alcohol.

The recipe serves as syrup and jelly for breads, sponge cakes, etc.

Chocolate Broth

Ingredients

  • 100 grams of dark chocolate, chopped
  • ½ cup (tea) of water
  • 2 tablespoons of honey

Preparation Mode

  3. When it starts to boil, stir continuously for approximately 10 minutes.

Use chocolate with a minimum concentration of 70% cocoa.

There are several excellent quality brands of chocolate on the market with up to 90% cocoa content. that don’t contain milk.

There is also soy chocolate.
