A very tasty rice with cod that could be part of the menu at future events.


  • 500 grams of desalted and shredded cod
  • 3 cups of rice (tea)
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 bunch of pre-cooked broccoli without stems (optional)
  • Chopped green olives to taste (optional)
  • ½ cup (tea) olive oil
  • 1 chopped pepper
  • 6 peeled and seedless tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 eggs, boiled and cut into slices
  • 100 grams of grated parmesan cheese

Preparation Mode

  1. In a pan, in olive oil, sauté the onion, garlic, pepper and tomatoes for approximately 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add the rice, cod and sauté for another 10 minutes, also stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the water and cook for 15 minutes with the pan covered.
  4. Add the broccoli and olives, mix and cook for another 10 minutes or until the water dries.
  5. Transfer to a refractory.
  6. Decorate with eggs.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Serve.

Mom Tips

There is already desalted cod in the market (desalted frozen). Frozen desalted meat is a quality product.
