Sometimes we want to eat a simple cake for our afternoon coffee. This one is simple but cute and very tasty!
Ingredients
- 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- 1 and ½ cup of milk
- 100 grams of grated coconut
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 ovo
- 1 heaping tablespoon of baking powder
Preparation Mode
- Grease a mold and sprinkle with wheat flour.
- Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
- In half a cup of milk, add the coconut and let it soak. Reserve.
- In a blender, beat the rest of the milk, sugar, margarine and egg.
- Add the wheat flour little by little, always beating until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Remove the glass from the blender, add the reserved coconut, yeast and mix with a spoon.
- Pour the dough into the pan.
- Place in the oven to bake for approximately 35 minutes or until golden.
Mom Tips
Preferably, use unsalted margarine.
There are 100-gram packages of grated coconut in supermarkets.
Approximate yield of 8 servings.
