Sometimes we want to eat a simple cake for our afternoon coffee. This one is simple but cute and very tasty!


  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 and ½ cup of milk
  • 100 grams of grated coconut
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 ovo
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of baking powder

Preparation Mode

  1. Grease a mold and sprinkle with wheat flour.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. In half a cup of milk, add the coconut and let it soak. Reserve.
  4. In a blender, beat the rest of the milk, sugar, margarine and egg.
  5. Add the wheat flour little by little, always beating until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  6. Remove the glass from the blender, add the reserved coconut, yeast and mix with a spoon.
  7. Pour the dough into the pan.
  8. Place in the oven to bake for approximately 35 minutes or until golden.

Mom Tips

Preferably, use unsalted margarine.

There are 100-gram packages of grated coconut in supermarkets.

Approximate yield of 8 servings.
