The scientific evidence that would indicate that Santa Claus could exist: myth or reality?

From quantum physics to astronomy and archaeology, various disciplines have presented evidence suggesting that Santa Claus could be real.

Quantum physics and Santa Claus

Quantum physics offers a possible explanation: Santa Claus could exist in different quantum states. This means that there are multiple versions of him operating simultaneously thus allowing him to accomplish his seemingly impossible task.

During Christmas 1968, astronaut Jim Lovell surprised the world with a statement from space: “Please be informed that there is a Santa Claus.”. This statement left everyone stunned and, to date, no one has denied his words. This event has been interpreted by some as proof that Santa Claus could have a presence beyond Earth.

Astronomical evidence

Astronomy has also contributed its bit in the search for Santa Claus. On Christmas 2007, a Santa Claus-like figure was found in the Orion Nebula. This finding has been interpreted by some as a sign that Santa Claus could be real.

Archaeological discoveries

Archeology has provided evidence of the existence of Saint Nicholas, a 4th century bishop who lived in modern-day Türkiye and is considered the precursor of the figure of Santa Claus.. The remains of Saint Nicholas were found and studied suggesting that the legend of Santa Claus could have real historical roots.

Regardless of scientific evidence, Santa Claus remains a figure who inspires peace, love and hope around the world. From the Arctic Circle, Santa Claus invites everyone to celebrate Christmas in the way they prefer, whether with family, friends or alone.

“You can be with your family, friends or alone, people have their Christmas Day, they celebrate Christmas in many ways and all of them are appropriate,” he said.
