Through a video recorded by herself, Oksana Fomeniuk, who had just arrived at the kyiv children’s hospital, showed the agonizing search she had to make for her daughter, a 16-year-old girl named Salomia, who was inside the medical center building receiving dialysis when the attack occurred.

Among the rubble and thinking the worst, Oksana ran to the dialysis unit and managed to see the window of her daughter’s room. Regardless of the dangers, he set out in search of Salomia.

“There she was, the doctors were treating her. She had one eye closed and she was covered in blood. She said to me: “Mom, I was praying that you would still be alive and come to me,” Oksana recalled.

Where was young Salomia taken after the attack?

Today, days after the attack, Oksana does not separate from her daughter, but he says he still smells the penetrating scent of death.

“I just ask, I beg for this to stop,” Oksana added.

Along with hundreds of other children, Salomia was evacuated to other hospitals.

Ukraine seeks to have the International Criminal Court file a case against Russia for this missile attack, which is considered the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine.
