O The bill, which was voted on more than a year ago by deputies, comes into force from Wednesday, the Ukrainian parliament said on its website.
The Verkhovna Rada (parliament) expressed confidence that the measure will be effective in relation to “replenishing human resource reserves”.
Although the Ukrainian parliament voted in favor of the bill in May 2023, the document has been awaiting Zelensky’s signature since June last year.
